Listen to a Conversation

Two people talk, each in a different voice and often a different accent. You listen once and take notes. Questions appear afterwards, one at a time. There is no transcript.

On the day

  1. Do not wait for a script. Write who wants what in the first few turns.
  2. A suggestion that gets rejected is a favourite detail trap.
  3. Attitude lives in “well…”, “I guess”, and contrast stress, not in the content words.
