Build a Sentence
Scrambled words must be tapped into a grammatical sentence. Word order, agreement, and punctuation all count.
On the day
- Find the subject and the finite verb first, then hang modifiers.
- Articles and prepositions are the usual leftovers. They have one legal slot.
- Don’t spend more than 40 seconds on a sentence. Flag and return.
Usual traps
- Building a grammatical sentence that isn’t the intended one. Extra clauses get left over.
